Abstract:
The purpose of this project was to survey the level of employee motivation at Daystar University (DU). Motivation is often seen as the key to organizational effectiveness. Therefore, it is to the interest of organizations to seek for ways to better motivate their employees in the wake of the growing pressures of economies and productivity. The project data was collected from both primary and secondary sources. Primary data consisted of questionnaire responses from the employees of DU and the secondary data was collected from the previously published findings. The analysis of the findings revealed that motivation factors exist in the institution. These factors should be well nurtured, sustained and developed in order for the institution to continue living out its mission.
