Abstract:
This paper critically analyzes the film “Hotel Rwanda” by looking at its significance and relevance within the difficult topic of genocide. As an artifact, this film is important considering that genocide is one of the most pervasive human problems afflicting the 20th century global community. Of course, “Hotel Rwanda” derives its relevance from the 1994 Rwanda genocide where about 800,000 Tutsis were slaughtered by Hutus in 100-day massacre that shocked the world.
